I just heard about Jubilee TV. A caregiver can control a LO's TV from afar via a smartphone app. This might solve a lot of headaches.

    Wow @Iris L.

That could have been handy when dad was in his TV-centric shenanigans phase, alternately disconnecting everything to "go wireless" or buying expensive Pay-per-Views.

It looks a little expensive— $200 for the unit and $269/year.

What is the issue you are having with the TV? I’ve recently considered finding a smart plug solution to get my mom to go to bed earlier or to keep her from getting back up and watching tv in the middle of the night. It would make her furious, however, if she figured out I was responsible for her tv not working.
