Trying to do what is best for everyone

My dad has alzheimers my mom and him have been married for 67 years. My mom was caring for him in their apartment. 2 weeks ago she said she just couldn't do it anymore.
We set up an appointment to meet with a facility ( we did not want this but knew our mother needed more help)
Also we had been staying my sister and I at night to allow my mom to sleep,
Anyways, they said the right things and that day we took him to this facility.
The first night he punched a nurse sending her to hospital. ( my dad isn't aggressive but I know he was scared and confused)
Anyways 4 days later and still no sleep this skilled facility and they were not.
We made the decision to take him out. My mom said she can't take him home so my sister is now taking care of him in her home. I am also a full time worker and full time care giver to my mother-in-law. It has been a week.
A long week.
We were told he was black listed from facilities in our area because he was aggressive????
We Don't know who can help us.
What to do? Where to go?
We just want to be able to help our mom and our dad through this?
