recommendations for elder law attorney in Minneapolis/St. Paul?

I've looked at the links that could help me locate an elder law attorney, but I'm curious if anyone has worked with, and can recommend, an elder law attorney in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area?

I always like getting referrals from real people who have "been there and done that". 😉 Thanks in advance for any ideas!

I'm in greater MN not the metro, but wanted to say that there is exactly one CELA in the state. This is why I don't necessarily recommend a CELA to people, because it can be impossible to find. However there are excellent elder law attorneys who haven't bothered to get that particular certification for a variety of reasons. Usually word of mouth is the best bet to find a good experienced person, that's what I did and the attorney was extremely good at their job. Good luck, I hope someone local can give advice.

Just seeing this now because I've neglected to check in for quite some time and don't get email "pings" to let me know about comments.

I agree that word of mouth is usually the best when it comes to finding recommendations, and I haven't reached out to an elder care attorney just yet. It's hard because it feels like dad might be opposed and think it's unnecessary, so I feel a bit hesitant but another part of me knows it needs to be done.
