Any Friends from Metro-Detroit Attending Tam Cummings Event?

In my search for MC for my DH (69) I've landed on the email/newsletter list for several Detroit-Area MC facilities.

I don't always appreciate these and have unsubscribed from most, but I received an Eventbrite invitation from a local facility to attend an upcoming event: Dementia Education Conference with Dr. Tam Cummings, October 2nd at the MSU Management Education Center - Troy.

I initially deleted the invite, but after thinking about it, decided to attend (it's free). I'm sure it will be as much a marketing event as it is a learning experience, but I feel the need to be with others in-person who are going through this experience.

Is anyone here a Metro-Detroiter and planning to attend? I don't want to provide information publicly, I'm not supporting or affiliated with this event, just thinking we could sit together or meet-up at the event if you were interested.
