Medicare Advantage Dementia CSNP

Does anyone know of a Medicare CSNP (Chronic Special Needs Plan) that focuses on dementia patients?

according to the CMS website CSNP’s should cover Dementia. I doubt any really focus on one illness. You might check with United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Cigna. Also, In many states you can get both Medicare & Medicaid if you qualify financially. My step daughter who is disabled gets both and she has Medicare with United Health Care and Medicaid through her state and is happy with the coverage.

D-SNPs are for those who are eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid, I-SNPs are for those living in a long-term care facility, and C-SNPs are for those with severe or disabling health conditions.

can I ask your reason for the question? None of them will cover the costs of AL or MC unfortunately, and that’s where the real expense of dementia comes in. Some will cover some home assistance in order to prevent facility placement. Most State Medicaid programs only cover nursing home care and not AL or MC, with few exceptions.
