Found out NJ Medicaid requirements

what I was told , everyone different based on funds, but say you own home together when out on Medicaid you change deed to your name saves house all legal can only change deed to a spouse. If say you have $100,000 it’s 50/50 split. You must spend 50 on whatever , pay bills buy car etc, the other 50 is yours to keep.
