Has anyone had their loved one sleep 12-14 hours per day. Was there something medically going on to cause that.

That is not a remarkable amount at all IME. Some PWD sleep 20 hours a day, especially in stages 6+

it seems common from what I’ve read here. And my DH sleeps about 11-13 hours, usually with one time up for me to change him around 8 or 9am.

My DW's baseline sleeping is 10-11 hours at night and 1-3 hours napping. She will sometimes sleep 16-20 hours in a 24 hour period.
