Ectropion Relief
I searched forum for ectropion and read about someone weighing surgery for eptropion. MIL lower lids turn out exposing the red inner lid.
We did surgery 1÷ year ago but they have sagged again. Same doctor now thinks face lift is needed! Not doing that.
Does anyone have any suggestions to make her more comfortable, and to stop her from constantly rubbing them - it makes it so much worse! When we nag she gets upset. We use drops and I recently tried eye cream on the skin but she wipes eyes almost immediately.

I would find a different doctor. I looked it up and all I can find is that the tightening of those tendons through surgery is the only real fix. Agree on no face-lift. (Like, seriously?!!) That's why different doc.

If you have access to a university teaching eye practice, I would consider a consult there.
My concern would be that she is fussing/wiping the area around the eyes which is going to interfere with healing and the success of the procedure.1 -
