How to respond

My LO has recently taken a large turn for the worst. I am 12 years his junior and still work full time but have homecare during the day. It is getting much more difficult at nights. He keeps asking every ten minutes for me to take him home or he needs to go home. I say ok lets go and a lot of times I will drive around the block and come home but shortly after he asks again. Any suggestions on how to respond or curb this.

Additionally, if you need a ‘reason’ tell him the car is acting up and you don’t want to drive it till you get it checked out, or that you are having ‘home’ cleaned after a plumbing mishap or something. Some meds could help with this if distraction + excuses don’t help

He may mean hid growing up home. You can google Teepa Snow for this topic.

My DH did the same thing, always wanting to go home ( where he grew up). He’s on Seroquel now and Klonozipan. Both in the morning then again about 3pm. No more anxiety about going home.
