Help with fiblet - moving DW into MC

I am moving my DW into MC next week and I am trying to come up with a fiblet to tell her on move in day. My SIL suggested that I tell her that I need to go back to OH (we live in WI) to take care of my older sister for a time and that I found a place for her to stay while I am gone. I do think she will buy this fiblet but I don't know what to tell her when I reappear in a week or two. What do you guys think? I am very open to alternative fiblets as well.

I told my DH that he is in a hotel while the house is being renovated. I told him that I am also living in a different hotel. My DH is disoriented to begin with so anything I told him would work.

IDK, I didn't tell my DW where we were going and when we arrived the administrator and head nurse were waiting in the parking lot for us. They took it from there. Granted my DW was midway or more through stage 6 so she really didn't understand what was happening.

    Still heartbreaking nonetheless.

I told my husband the doctor wanted him to live for a time in a place that could help him with his memory issues. Surprisingly, he said "interesting" and didn't object. I waited and told him the morning right before we moved him. In hindsight, it was the right thing to do.

I told my husband that I had to have surgery and would be in the hospital for a week or so. I didn't want him to be home alone, since he had gotten sick not long ago (he went into the hospital with pneumonia, but didn't remember it). We went to the facility the day before he checked in to set up his room with bedding and pictures. The next day went fairly smoothly.
