    Thank you for posting this, Daniel. I'm going to read it to Todd, or maybe send him a picture of it. He lost Sarah a little over four months ago. She was my great niece.

    I still have my DH with me, we are living life to the full with a lot of help from special, kind groups, trying to surround ourselves with compassionate and understanding souls. Sometimes it doesn’t work and sometimes I am so exhausted I do get overwhelmed and sad. Not sure what stage we are up to my OT says middle so we’ve got a long way to go but your friends posting is going up on my wall as a reminder. I cry so much and so often, tears of sadness, tears of regret, tears of happiness and thankfulness. I have a friend who watched her husband die such a painful and stressful death of cancer that took 4 months. These words are a reminder that my DH is still with us to share Christmas and birthdays in whatever form we can. Thankyou.

    my wife is still breathing but not much else. For all practical purposes she is already gone. I read your post and it lifted my spirits thank you I needed that so much
