@F&E I think you have expressed the sentiments of many of us. The collective kindness, wisdom, compassion and support we find here is simply mind-boggling. This forum is a real lifesaver. I especially appreciate the members who stay on into Stage 8, offering support and wisdom to those of us who are not as far along in the journey.

I joined this when it became clear that my DH had reached the point of needing more cate and supervision. This has been invaluable to me. I am thankful for the group.

This forum has been my lifesaver. The lack of understanding from professionals and Doctors is terrible, the feeling of being alone and abandoned by friends and relatives due to their lack of understanding is abhorrent, even our daughter said earlier on I wish Dad had cancer at least I could understand that (she has now changed her mind). It’s a hard and distressing journey but this forum is wonderful. Thank you to everyone for the sharing and caring.

I agree with all of the above. I go here several times a day and the information I have gathered from caregivers who know by experience is invaluable. And the care and compassion is always here. I’m so grateful for this forum. Thanks to all!
