Shaving solution

I switched DH over to a battery operated electric shaver awhile back and found that if I leave it on the kitchen table he automatically picks it up and uses it while I am preparing the meal. At 3 times a day he is doing a pretty decent job and I don’t have to say anything. All I do is clean it under the kitchen faucet and charge when needed (yes it is waterproof) and put it back on the table next to his spot. It’s working great. 👍 😋 I know not everyone would appreciate having a shaver on their kitchen table but who cares. LOL

Funny … I just bought an electric shaver a few days ago. I have been shaving my DH for awhile now with shaving lotion and a razor. I finally thought of an electric shaver and asked some family members. I still have to shave him, but it takes 2 minutes instead of 15 minutes or more. I am loving it!!! I don’t think the “kitchen table trick” will work for us because he’s never used an electric shaver, so he doesn’t know what to do with it. But, if it works for your DH, so be it. We deal with a lot worse than that! Lol

I sometimes shave my DH with foam and a razor generally singing as we go at the moment it’s “does Santa Clause sleep with his whiskers over or under the sheets) he does have an electric shaver which he uses occasionally but this is great advice. I shall pass this on to a friend of mine whose husband refuses to shave, its driving her ‘bonkers’. Leaving it on the bench sounds like a good idea to me - Thankyou.

Can I ask what razors you all have gotten—My first attempt at a cheap norelco failed. But I'm willing to try again. Thanks

My DH always shaved with a regular razor and foam, then he didn’t want to anymore. I tried shaving him with his regular razor but he hates it and pulls away. So I’ve invested in several electric razors trying to find one that works good enough. The cheap ones aren’t worth it. I found that a Phillips Norelco series 9000 rotary shaver works pretty well. But I can’t seem to get his mustache shaved - I’ve tried precision trimmers but he coils away from me - it’s probably too sensitive there. Suggestions would be welcome.
