Hi there! How common is it for an Alzheimer’s patient to have other health issues arise from having alz. And the doctors answers seem to be Alzheimer’s is causing all the issues. Basically heart issues and blood pressure issues are all related to Alzheimer’s. Has anyone experienced this?

Sorry, not sure, but they could be inter-related, but I would think not necessarily.

MIL had blood pressure issues before all 'this', and that runs in her family. Her high-cholesterol could be a contributing factor to the vascular dementia. Saw an article on that not too long ago. Mom doesn't have other issues, but has alz.

As the disease progresses it will affect the brain's ability to regulate blood pressure, temperature, vision, hearing, depth perception, speech, etc. The attached reviews it in more depth. It's more from the brain not being able to do it's normal functions.
