Long distance sister

I am new to this site. I have a sister in a care facility far away. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer about nine years ago and I had to put her in Memory care in 2018. I have traveled back many times to visit and oversee her care. She is a widow with no children and all our siblings have passed away so I am her soul support, POA and healthcare director! Initially she had a boyfriend caring for her and visiting but he is no longer involved. I hired a care manager and physical therapist to oversee her care more directly. They have been fabulous and been with her for seven years. She is very close to her PT. As a result I have kept her with those she is closest too. However she is now in her final stages of this awful disease. She is on hospice and I really wish now she was closer. I do know she is in a good place and getting the best care possible. It is just very hard to not have any relatives or my sister’s friends to talk to about it! I have had to make all the decisions in her care. Facing her end of life this far away is difficult as I don’t find any nearby support groups and people in similar situations. Just wondering if there are others out there in similar stages in there long distance care.
