white matter detected on my brain...

Good evening peeps,

I saw my neurologist today and they found some white matter on my MRI which he said could account for my falling, balance problems. He wants to see me back in 3 months after I have another PET scan. He also wants me to go to the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health here in Las Vegas. He says they might be able to put me on new treatments for my dementia. I also shared a new symptom where sometimes when I am talking with someone and I hear the words but can't connect them together to make sense. Its really confusing and frustrating because I don't understand what they are saying! Does anyone have this symptom? I'm just so tired of this. I'm supposed to go to this new clinic as soon as possible although I'm nervous and I just know I failed the cognitive test they gave me at the Dr. today.

Also, question. Does ya'll's Neurologist try and look you in the eyes and it feels like he is looking for something but I have no idea what he's looking for. I feel lost when he does this. Is this normal? or am I just imagining things. I really like my doctor and I feel he is good but he tries to stare in my eyes. what is he doing???

thanks
