Clogging Toilet

Good Morning! My father keeps clogging toilet - I believe he is flushing too much toilet paper down toilet. Any advice for this?

Leave less paper in there. Like half roll or tear off so much and put it in a kleenex box or something.

I would also make sure you are using single ply paper

My mother with Alz kept clogging the toilet as well. Eventually the sink was backed up too and I had to take the pipes apart - found she had been putting dental floss, washing out her Depends so the absorbent beads were down there, and many other things we didn't know about. I assume toilet paper and god knows what else was in the toilet. Years after she died we still had plumbing issues and had to have a massive overhaul done by a plumber. There isn't a whole lot to be done other than more supervision and assistance with toileting and grooming in the bathroom.
