Onesies

My spouse is about Stage 6 and has lived in memory care/assisted living for 2 1/2 years now. He has moved from the more independent through the middle and is now in the section where residents require the most care. The nurse called me this week and said he is peeing wherever he is, and wonders if I mind them trying him with a onesie. To me that's a great solution, as they won't have to limit his mobility or medicate him, so I said yes, that would be fine.

Then today I went on the Buck & Buck site and there are two different things they have. One looks like a baby's onesie and has snaps at the crotch. The other is the jumpsuit with the zipper up the back. I had assumed they meant a jumpsuit, but that's not actually what they said. I think the snap-crotch onesie wouldn't be effective because he would just push it aside and pee anyway.

I don't really have a question, because I'll be going to see him tomorrow and I can see what they mean. It's just that I thought I knew what they meant and now I'm confused. I'm also sad, even though I knew he was peeing where he ought not to—back last June that was why I had to stop taking him out.

Turns out they meant the jumpsuit. Now I just need to order him some in his own size. Soon I'll have to get some made as shorts. Here in the desert southwest it's already getting warm.
