What motivates you to do good deeds as a caregiver?

MEDITATION

I know a loving, caring Christian lady who felt as long as God has a job for us to do, we will remain alive. Interesting thought.

We know any good deeds we do cannot save us and put us in right standing with our God. It is God’s grace, His Son our Lord Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross for our sins that saves us when we have faith by accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

Now that we are saved, hopefully, we are thankful, inspired by the Holy Spirit and willing to do good works. These good works God prepared in advance for us to do. This should fill us with enthusiasm for our lives because there are special things, small or large, we can do for our Lord. One of them may be loving and caring for those who can't care for themselves anymore.

Caregivers serve by making sure those they care for receive everything they need to be comfortable and as peaceful as possible.

PRAYER

Lord Jesus, thank you for saving me from my sins. It is a privilege to serve You as the Holy Spirit guides me each day. May I be sensitive to those who need care and love them by making sure they have what they need. I pray for this in Your name. Amen.
