Coconut oil?

Been doing some research on diet changes and the effects it has on Alzheimer’s.
Has anyone ever heard about/or tried coconut oil to slow the Alzheimer’s process?
I know omega 3s are important. Just trying to see if there is anything else I should be doing for my mom besides the standard drug treatment.
