Two months ago my DW had those symptoms. I called our family doctor; he told me to get her to the hospital asap, They ran tests - she had sepsis. Four days later she was cured.

@CampCarol all is ok. Thank you for checking.
this has happened several times. It happens sometimes 5 times in a day lasting about 5 minutes each episode, then doesn’t come back for a month. The Dr doesn’t seemed too concerned..she said maybe sugar drops (not diabetic), or BP drop. I just wondered if anyone else has had this happen? DH could have vascular aspects. I keep thinking TIA’s could be a possibility.

It’s very scary. My husband had the same episodes. His blood pressure would spike very high. Blood sugar normal. After the first time I sent his doctor a message and she said if it happened again have him taken to the ER as he could be having a stroke. So the 2nd time I called and they took him to the ER. They kept him overnight and found nothing. No stroke. Nothing. Later I learned that it may be caused when the Alzheimer’s reaches the Posterior Cortical area of the brain. It’s called Posterior Cortical Atrophy. (PCA) That part of the brain affects blood pressure, blood sugar, hormone levels, swallowing and other things. It can also affect how their brain interprets what their eyes see. My husbands Neurologist looked at his last brain scan and confirmed there was white matter disease in that area of his brain and his behaviors were consistent with Posterior Cortical Atrophy. If it’s PCA there is nothing they can do. If it’s a stroke will you have them treat it? I wouldn’t. 🙏💜
