Please call someone. You need a break. And a hug! Sending a virtual hug 🐣

Please call the Alzheimers help line. Call the crisis line. This is terribly hard but we can get through it. There is help often times not the help we want or are looking for but help we need when in crisis.

Call the help line right away! Find a way to get your loved one into an appropriate facility. It sounds like that would be best for both of you. This does not mean defeat or that you have failed, or that you are a bad person! See your doctor for medication that will help you cope. I avoided it for a long time, but finally accepted that I needed medication to help me deal with it all.

Quietly Call 911. Wait outside or in your car. Drive to a nearby location so you can watch for rescue. Or just get the heck out the door quickly, quietly, then dart across outside, hide, then call 911 once you are hidden.
Terrible. I am so sorry. Safety 1st for you.

In addition to calling for help, BREATHE! Slow, deep breaths. Close your eyes and focus on your breathing. Slow it down. Slow breath in through your nose. Big exhale through your mouth.
Remember that the overwhelming feelings will actually pass no matter what you're dealing with. I've had to fight suicidal ideation for years due to a brain injury. I'm glad I am still here fighting. I am a warrior. So are you. You were strong enough to reach out to this group. You've got this.

Suicide is never the answer. Your situation is not yours alone; it's shared by thousands of others who have been dealing with the same issues. You can still do this. I know you do not want to, none of us do. Reach out to whoever you can find to help you along. Have faith in yourself. You are stronger than you think.

Please do not give up! Get help. The world needs you. Things may be rough at the moment, but they won't always be. My own mother with Alzheimer's told me years ago, "it came to pass, not to stay" when I was in a bad place.
Praying for you right now and always.
