My Dh is c/o light headless and chest discomfort. Im retired nurse so I've done all the steps. BP is fine heartrate is fine no further symptoms. Up walking around like nothing wrong. Was at er last week for back pain. Found nothing that would cause it. Given his meds for BP baby aspirin. Will cont to monitor him,but it just so hard because I can't tell if it's the dementia or not. Just need to vent a min.

My DH says his "whatever" hurts, and then I call the on-call nurse, and he says I don't know what you are talking about. So often I am not sure that he is old school and doesn't tell his "doctor: his problems, or he forgets.

Every day brings a new challenge, I am loosely using that word. Truthfully, every day brings me into a new reality when I have not had time to process yesterday's challenge.

I think sometimes these are somatic complaints, or bids for attention, coming from depression, anxiety and/or an inability to entertain oneself.

A snack, hydration and TLC can sometimes work miracles.
