ARIA - Do most medical professionals / EMTs know what this is???

I will soo start Leqembi and want to get a medical Id bracelet. I was thinking of putting "at risk for ARIA" but am not sure this is a well known term?

Any insight?

My neurologists' office gave me a wallet card to carry, made by Esail Inc and Biogen that lists the symptoms and has a QR code for EMTs to scan. It also has space on the back to enter your doctor's information.

One thing I would ask your neurologist about is getting a way to request an MRI to check for ARIA if you go to the ER. I had a severe reaction (rare) and the ER just cleared me for a stroke and sent me home. My swelling continued while I waited for a pre-authorization.

You are right about people not knowing…the first responders and the ER docs were googling it.
