I know there are many of us here who deal w persons w difficult personalities and dementia. I saw this Dr. Natalie video and wanted to share.

My DH doesn't have a diagnosed PD or diagnosed dementia but he sure does "quack like a duck." 😁

@Chammer thank you for the link. I copied and saved the link as I will benefit from rewatching it … over and over… as it described my husband’s behaviors perfectly. Hopefully I can become better at managing my reactions to his outbursts.

very informative video. My current challenge behavioral /personality issues are from being a geriatric psych MD that is skilled at identifying what medications may help the best in mitigating these behaviors so quality of life and function are not so negatively impacted more so then the dementia itself

Just wanted to thank you for this video @Chammer. I cried my eyes out cause it was so on point. I’ve been struggling with this topic for many years now. My DH is a combo of disorders cause of early childhood trauma that continued into adulthood with his first wife and two children. It’s very difficult to separate the two when there is so much aggression. I often think I’m not able to provide proper care because of this and maybe he would be better off in a facility. It’s an ongoing battle with me. Thank you so much for posting 💜
