Kisunla infusions- treatment side effects

Hello, My dad is about to start his Kisunla infusions. I am hoping to hear from people whose loved ones or they themselves have experienced some of the infusions what the possible side effects have been. I am familiar with the listed side effects, but would like to hear from individuals who have experienced the infusions personally or witnessed/cared for someone after the infusions. Thank you so much.

He is early stages with minor cognitive impairment. He is almost 74 yrs old. Has a family history of Alzheimers (mother- early onset, sister early onset, and two uncles- late onset, in their late 80s).

I've heard good things about Kisunla but haven't heard about the details. Of the side effects. I'm glad your dad is getting early treatment. So often people are resistant to a diagnosis and treatment in the early stages when there might have been more treatment options available to them. Best of luck. 🤞

DH here just finished infusion #12 with no side effects. Since he is somewhat claustrophobic, the hardest part for him was the required MRI scans. He took some anxiety meds before the exam and did fine. The infusions only take about a half hour.

Next up is a PET scan to see if they made a difference.

Hello, Thank you so much for your response. I am glad to hear your DH didn't experience any side effects. Have you or he noticed any cognitive changes since starting (as in continued progression of cognitive challenges)?
