I believe you - there's no choice in the matter. Learn to accept reality and try to make the best of a bad situation - or ignore / refuse to accept reality and make everything worse for yourself and the one you care for.

In the beginning of this nightmare, I had fits and would yell at my DH. I used to think he was doing things on purpose to aggravate me. Then I learned it take a three pound brain to do things intentionally and he didn’t have that as the disease was slowly shrinking his brain. Eventually I made peace with the situation we were in and decided to try my best to make each day as enjoyable as possible for my DH. He doesn’t have much left, so my thought was, why not maximize the joy in his life.
You know you don’t like getting angry with her and yelling. Treat her in a way that honors her and you can be proud of. Take care @DonCaregiver, this is a tough road.

Thanks for your thoughts. Your last statement is exactly the thought that jarred me into action to do something about the things you mention.
