My spouse has had the first three infusions of Leqmbi, and the MRI following the second infusion shows no ARIA or other changes, which was a huge relief to both of us. All the best with your course of treatment, and those MRI's will definitely keep your medical team on top of how you are doing throughout the program.

I am about to take my 12th infusion of Leqembi next week. I have had little to no, negative reactions other than being pretty tired with a bit of digestive issues the next day. MRIs with "Aria protocol" after every two infusions were required for the first eight infusions. All MRIs showed clear. It's a bit hectic in the beginning with all the infusion, MRI appointments, followup Dr. appointments etc. but it does slow down as I do not show any more MRIs on the schedule and no follow-up Dr. appointments. (yay!!) So now it's just an hour or so at the infusion center every two weeks. Easy peasy. I feel less "foggy", my attention span is significantly better, I don't want to sleep all the time and I can follow conversations around a table again when socializing. Wishing you all the best. Keep us updated on your progress and how it's going for you.

I am curious to know how the majority of people diagnosed with Mild Alzheimer's after MRI, Pet Scan, Neurological testing, etc. do well for a yr. after diagnosis or longer then start noticing subtle changes?? I was diagnosed July 14, 2025.

Hi, Dorse
I was diagnosed Jan 27 2025. Started Lequebmi every 2 weeks in March. So far, so good. What mild symptoms I've had haven't gotten worse- in fact, I've noticed some degree of memory improvement.

My mother has been getting the infusions for about 13 months now. I was very concerned about the potential for brain bleeds since she has a history of TIAs. As scared and hesitant as I was, I have to say now that I am glad that she is getting them. Her condition has only mildly worsened over the last year. I think the Leqembi is doing its job. I also think she is getting excellent oversight at the hospital and from the geriatric psychologist she is seeing.
