Figetting

My DW is in stage 5/6 and will not sit still. Is there any medication that will calm her down.I have constantly follow her around and it's exhausting!

    there are many medications to calm her. The difficult part is finding the right combo and dose. The best type of doctor to manage meds for dementia is a geriatric Psychiatrist. Get a referral to one if you can

    My DW was the same and is stage 5/6. Her neurologist prescribed 0.25mg of Xanax as needed. It has calmed her down.

    This is very true. Not all medications work the same for everyone. It is an art and trial and error. Hopefully something can be prescribed for your DW that will help.
