Happy I can still find things that make me laugh
My husband lost his phone this morning and wanted help finding it. I was in a different room so I told him I’d call it so he could follow the sound. After calling several times with no answer I went looking for him. He was in his bathroom on his hands and knees looking behind the toilet. When I called again I could tell he had it in his pocket. Every time it had rung he’d turn around to look for it.
I didn’t laugh until I’d left his room but could just imagine him turning in circles.
He isn’t yet “hiding” things just loses things all day long.

Oh, @Chance Rider! How funny! Yes, we do have to hang on to those moments that make us smile.
A week ago my DH came into the kitchen and was wearing his shoes on the wrong feet! I had to hide the smile as I looked at him with his toes pointed away from center! How he got them to fit AND be able to walk in them is beyond me!
Needed that bit of ‘sunshine’ today. Thank you!

Yes you sometimes have to find some humor amongst the tough times. I usually help my DW with picking out what to wear and helping her get dressed. This one time my DW insisted that she could do it herself so I said go ahead that would be great. Here is what she picked out. 😂😂

I love the shoes choice. 😆

My helper and I spent about a week looking for one of DW's shoes. I just happened to glance in a floor vase that has those fake ferns in our room. Right there all the time. They do do funny things sometimes. We have a big mirror in our dining room. A few months ago my helper called me to come look at somthing. DW had apparently kissed herself in the mirror - right there were lip and nose tip prints.

Such a strange disease. The oddities can be very funny at times. I wish all you caregivers well.

What first came to mind is how beautiful your wife is and that she looks so comfortable, no worry that her clothes don’t match. A peaceful moment in a horrible journey.
Thank you for sharing the pic, it really touched me. 💜

I swear this could be a picture of my DW, dog included.
