Helpful Resource

This site is an amazing resource of help and support for so many. I also saw a post in another section of a video on a particular subject. I found the information, presentation and vocabulary right on target for this audience so I thought I would share it here. It is offered just as another resource and supplement to this site.

Yes, that is a good resource. I watched a few of her videos. One has especially worked for my DW. I put up multiple signs with arrows directing my DW to the toilet. It has worked really well. At first my DW said she didn't need them, but she hasn't objected since. I also ask her about every hour if she needs to go to the bathroom. Both so far, are working for me.

Glad you also find them helpful. We can use all the help we can get as we travel this ever changing path. I learned as well to ask often about the bathroom. Just a gentle low voice question and she accepted it without reaction or anger. I also observed that when seated sometimes she would begin to move her legs back and forth and realized that was a signal also. It was as if the sensation to go was bothering her but she was unable to interpret the feeling and tell me. All the best to you as you walk this path beside your DW.
