My husband’s bathroom only has a very deep large soaking tub that’s difficult for him to get in/out of. I had a contractor come by to give me an estimate for replacing the tub with a walk-in shower.

My husband had taken my dog for a walk and came back with a “gift” for Melissa (contractor). He gave her a palm sized flat piece of black granite rock. She graciously accepted the gift, examined it and talked about how beautiful and sparkly it was. She was so very kind, not condescending at all, and it made him so happy. Later in the day he commented on how much she liked it.

I’m so very grateful for kind people. ❤️

That’s a beautiful story. Thank you so much for sharing. I was always so touched by these types of small gestures of kindness from strangers. It makes my heart feel joy that there are so many good people out there.
