    Your pain is palpable. I do not have wisdom for this situation but pray for peace for you and your parents. It takes a lot of courage to stay involved when the drama is so volatile. Kudos to you for standing by to do what you can for them.

    Three sons and a daughter…Son #1 supports the parents’ fantasies, son #3 is basically out of the picture…yes, I see, and I am so sorry. Your parents are lucky to have you.

    I have a cousin with similar family dynamics, but only one living parent. It is rough, I know.
