Vascular Dementia horrible dreaming

Hello, I’m new to the group. I was diagnosed with vascular dementia after suffering 7 small strokes two years ago. I was impacted cognitively, confusion, anxiety, short term and memory loss initially. Since then I feel like I’m falling apart. Over the last 6 months I began having intense dreams, loss of taste, lack of saliva creation. I have also battled severe chronic pain for the last 16 years forcing me to live on pain meds.
Does anyone else struggle with intense dreams ?

I’m so sorry you’ve been going through all of this. Dealing with memory changes, anxiety, chronic pain, and intense dreams all at once must be exhausting. You deserve support and understanding as you navigate these challenges. I hope you’re able to find some relief and connect with others who understand what you’re experiencing. Having the right support system, whether at home or through resources like assisted living Anaheim, can also make a difference. Wishing you comfort, strength, and better days ahead.
