Dealing with finances during short term memory loss

My 90-yo mother has been diagnosed with Limbic-predominant, Age-related, TDP-43 Encephalopathy (LATE). She still lives independently, but she often orders vitamins and other brain supplements—getting scammed—but doesn’t remember doing it due to her severe short-term memory issues. Does anyone have any advice on how to limit this vulnerability/stopping so much spam or limiting charges?

Thank you !!!

I removed my dad's credit card number from his browser. He could still type it in if he wanted to buy something, but it was enough more trouble to make a huge difference.

Could you remove the credit card and replace it with either an expired one? Or an already used Visa gift card?

Also please make sure she isn't being scammed in other areas (phone). And are utilities on auto-pay, so she doesn't miss payments or double pay them?
