Grateful DH understands he’s great-grandpa

Last night my grandson and his wife became first-time parents and DH & I became first-time great grandparents. When I visited my husband yesterday, I told him that the baby was about to be born. He was very happy. I had to remind him which of our grandchildren was expecting but when I told him he was very much aware of the impending good news. Today I will bring pictures of our 8 lb 6 oz great-grandson. I’ll have to remind him again but I am grateful that he will be able to enjoy the moment.

Yes that is good news, being a grandparent is swell but being a great grandparent has to take the cake.
