    I’m in my 60s and I wouldn’t have hired myself for or applied for this job -and my parents are still only in stage 4 and in AL. It’s one of the only two jobs I know of that you end up with without applying for them. The other being a parent. At least you get a few months warning with that one.

    What else is just ducky - you can't explain this 'job' to people who have no clue... (so I don't)

    That department no longer accepts resignations. The best they will do is change your job description to off site, overseeing staff in facilities and facilitating all aspects of the resident’s care. Pay is reduced accordingly.
