Is there a live chat room here? It would be nice to talk to others in real time.

Thanks

I totally agree. Our life is so off course with MIL and ladder stage of Alzheimers. She deaf and legally blind so no activities, communication just a continuous chatter.

Totally incontinent started hospice totally healthy 83 yr old no meds. She just cat naps. Hoping her suffering and ours ends soon. This experience has opened our eyes to living wills and last wishes. We're forever changing diapers and cleaning. We have watched her regress to a very young toddler stage. It's not easy. There's a hot line that's great to use and I should probably be on it now but I wanted to let you to know there are folks out here.

Thank you DCCEPEK... it is comforting to know that I'm not alone!! I really would love to "chat" in the middle of the night. Some evenings I wake with anxiety and have no one to talk to. I did talk with someone on the hotline and he was very helpful but I want to talk to others who are experiencing this, those who might be up in the middle of the night too.
