I want to still be functional, helpful. Needed

So my hubby had to take over our finances and I get that. I messed things up but he still left me with my Sam's account. Q e order two times in a year. We work together on the list. Part of the delivery came in today and it seems I ordered many orders. I don't remember and was positive I didn't but he checked and I did. I had 5 separate orders I am so upset. He is too he didn't want to remove everything from my control but now what. Also heading for a check in with neurologist this should be good. If I wasn't so sad I would've laugh.

Wishing all a good day

With my diagnosis my wife had to take over my finances (we have been married only 6 years we each had our own accounts ). since the diagnosis if I want to buy something on line I have to get her o.k. to make sure that it is really a needed item that had a monthly requirement and I did not know it.

Do whatever you can to make your life easier. You don't need added stress.

Boy, this isn't easy! I am realizing I need to turn money matters over to my son! As a widow of over 15 years I have done everything on my own, but I am no longer feel able to handle my own money! I gave up driving a few months ago, but the good news is I am walking a mile or more several times a week.

I feel relief knowing DH is handling the finances. I have always taken a long time deciding on purchases. Now that particular slowness is helpful.

I do wish he would help me with shopping lists. I frequently forget that we don't have a particular food & then we get home & discover that we did need olive oil. But we laugh together. One of his very attractive attitudes is his ability to find humor in life. I want to always be positive & enjoy life. I let him know that is my 'Goal' & I appreciate his help. Always.

I am relieved too that hubby is doing our finances now. I'm just upset that I thought I would be okay handling one account and now realizing that I need to let all the accounts go to him.

I am very happy for you that you have such a wonderful DH.

Today I gave up control of my medications. I was taking one for me not to have hallucinations { in the morning} and I should have been taking it at night so my wife has taken control of my medications.

Taking medications can be tricky, so this sounds like a good idea.

I still manage my meds but they are packaged by the pharmacy but I have mixed up the bubble packs so if it happens again my hubby will have to take that on too. I hate how much is on his plate because of this horrible disease. 😞

Oh, my. I have a hard time with mine. I had 9, when I woke up. 1 with breakfast. 2 with dinner & I don't remember how many at bedtime. I have a couple of bottles that say Morning & Bedtime. I have the daily thing & even 4 different times a day to take the Rx on the 'big holder'. I still forget. I forgot all my BP pills until dinner & said something I think I learned from my Navy kids, & decided I would take them at night. I babbled on, to say that you are not alone. Not by a long shot!

Thank you for reminding me, you are right we are not alone,so glad I found this group. Sometimes this disease makes me feel alone in the fight from my end even though I know my hubby is right beside me.
