How would I know? Or would I know

Hi everyone,

So recently I have moved my LO in with me. He still showers and uses the bathroom by himself.
So how would I know if the proper things are being done while showering and using the bathroom? I think it would be obvious but not sure.

Any suggestions?

Thank you,

Hi JM, the fact is you won't know unless you spy or there is some obvious breach of hygiene. typically, you may notice that he won't even begin to initiate a shower unless prompted; ditto with brushing his teeth (a dry toothbrush would be an obvious clue). You may notice that he puts on the same clothes, starts to have toilet accidents, or you find toilet paper (or stool, or urine) in other places than where intended. You may find increasing soilage of his underwear. With my partner it was the frequency of bathing the diminished first, she would constantly complain of being cold.

    Hi M1,

Thank you for the response. I figured I would start to notice the obvious. Which was when he was living alone wearing the same clothes ect. He will still initiate a shower and since he now here I will just point out his soap to him before he I leave him to it.

But I was a little worried about the toileting and haven’t seen the obvious yet. But will keep my eye.

    Thank you again.
