me: There are many reasons people choose to be a caregiver or an advocate to someone in a care facility. Let’s face it, sometimes it is an overwhelmingly difficult road. It might be worthwhile considering the reason and whether you are ok with it. If not, I suggest prayer. God does give us wisdom if we ask for it.

As I took my DH’s dentures out to clean them, I was a little grossed out. Then I thought … if these were your dentures, Jesus, I would feel that it was a privilege to help you and get them all cleaned and smelling fresh for you. (I guess that’s what it’s like when we are supposed to see Jesus in everyone.) I was happy to be cleaning my DH’s dentures after I thought about it like that. His wisdom is so very comforting.
