Books For Beginners Caring For A Loved one
These 2 books were a tremendous help for me when I started on this dreadful journey 5 years ago. Being new, I was not aware of Support Forums but reading these 2 books helped me kinda understand how my world was going to change …. and unfortunately not for the better.

There is an ongoing thread called "Books about Alzheimer's Disease". If you could, please add your recommendations to that thread so others will see them in the future. I have bumped the thread to the top of the list.
I have read the Jolene Brackey book and found it interesting. It should be required reading for memory care facilities everywhere.

ty will take a look at the book recommendations I maybe new at this with DH but did watch as his mother dealt with his dad yrs ago.. I just hope I am doing right by DH.

thanks for posting. My daughter gave me the book, “Creating Moments Of Joy” several years ago and I found it very helpful. Another book that really helped me was, “Learning To Speak Alzheimer’s.”
