    I don’t know about you but I’m sure not in the holiday spirit. It’s been a struggle to get through my lists- but I’m more or less there. All the presents are under the tree. A meal has been ordered. I just want to get to Saturday night, when things will slow down.

    Thank you—I hope everyone here is able to find a bit of space for themselves to enjoy the holidays. It seems hard to get going this year... and I'm ready to bid a not so fond farewell to 2024, myself.

    I feel better already, just knowing that the days are getting longer again. As Merle Haggard said, "If we make through December we'll be fine."

    Thank you @forbarbara I think of everyone here too.

    I don't have much of a Christmas spirit in the best of years, but the last few years have been extra rough. This will be the first Christmas without my sister. Sad, and also very, very strange.

    @Carl46 - here's what you want — timeanddate.com Plug in your state, and get more information about sunrise, moonrise, the various kinds of twilights than you ever thought possible! (I love that site)
