I remember that early stages, MIL had some dizziness, but I had to look it up, too - but do check for low blood pressure, inner ear problems, certain medication side effects, and possible anxiety. Sometimes alz or lewy-body can cause some dizziness, particularly in the early stages.

Thank you for your input. I am new to ALZ. Learning new things everyday. Mother is having difficulty time to accept the fact that she has Alz.

She most likely has anosognosia. This is not denial, but rather the perception that nothing is wrong.
Something to keep in mind: Rule #1: Do not argue with a PWD. Rule #1: Must take care of yourself. Rule #2: see Rule #1 - both of them.

If you go to groups on this website and then the group for new caregiver help, you will find some great resources. I would recommend looking at the staging tool and the article understanding the dementia experience. There are so many symptoms related to dementia that you might not have expected. In my opinion learning more about dementia and how to interact with a person with dementia will help make dealing with all this more manageable.

Thank you so much for all the information, this is very helpful. Been a full time caregiver is a tough job. Besides taking care my mother, I am also looking after my father as well. Thank god his brain is working fine. Except his hearing and physical are declining. I am facing new challenges every day.
