PET Scan Amyloid results

DH just had amyloid pet scan. Just reaching out to see if anyone has any insight on where he might be with all of this based on the widespread findings. Findings were:
"Tracer activity is noted in the brainstem and cerebellar peduncles but not in the cerebellar hemispheres. Tracer activity is noted in the frontal, parietal, temporal and occipital lobes. The Centiloid value is 84.98."

What did the doctor say? I'm not a doctor, but when my DH got the Petscan, the dr was specifically looking for amyloid to determine whether it was Alzheimer's. Since there was no trace, he ruled out AD. Hope you get a clear picture/diagnosis from your dr.

Nothing yet. I just got the report from the radiologist. There is amyloid plaque in all of those areas. It is very widespread.

This is how our report read. My DW has progressed significantly since then:
FINDINGS:
There is no evidence for motion/misregistration between the PET and CT images.
The CT portion of the examination demonstrates no evidence for intra-or extra-axial masses, fluid
collections, hemorrhage, hydrocephalus, mass, mass effect, or acute cortical infarction. There is no
atrophy. The PET images demonstrate normal physiologic uptake of radiotracer throughout the white matter.
There is abnormal retention of radiotracer in the cerebral gray matter. The gray matter activity is therefore
equal to or greater than white matter activity, resulting in a loss of normal gray-white matter contrast.PET/CT
IMPRESSION:
Abnormal scan indicating moderate to frequent amyloid neuritic plaques in an amount that has been
shown to have significant correlation with Alzheimer's Disease. This finding has; however, been
demonstrated in other neurological conditions, or as a variant of extreme old age, therefore clinical
correlation is needed.0 -
Thank you for sharing. What has the timeframe of progression been? I worry that it is in his brainstem.

My DW progression has been described as "typical" When diagnosed in in early 2022 she was described as late 4 / early 5. She is now early 6, maybe even middle 6.
