Home for the Holidays

Hi to all,

I ran across this video while checking to see if any new ones popped up on my YouTube channel. I found it to be quite helpful and relevant for this time of year. The title is “Caregiving and the Holidays: From Stress to Success” through the Wellmed Charitable Foundation. (If the link below doesn’t open for you, try the title or the organization for the video.). The video is about an hour long:

In watching the video, I was pleased to see that I was doing some of their recommended strategies, and learned a few more. We are staying home and having a couple of friends over for Thanksgiving. One is doing a fried turkey for us. The other two will take charge of keeping DH entertained. I am taking care of side dishes, and some may be ‘store bought’ (such as a pie). I’m also preparing casseroles ahead of time (as I can) and freezing them. We certainly won’t go hungry and hopefully be able to enjoy the day and each other’s company.

What do you have planned for the upcoming holidays?

Thank you all for your love, support and prayers for our wonderful group. I am so glad I found you!
