Newly Diagnosed - 77 yo father - Infusion Therapy Experience?

Hello all,

Just joined today as we received my fathers early ALZ diagnosis right before Christmas. We are seeing the early signs of memory loss, repeating and difficulty with completing simple tasks. He has not decided if he wants to move forward with the therapy or not. Can anyone who has taken the therapy or know someone that has give any feedback? Thanks in advance.

    Welcome. Sorry about the reason you are here. While you wait for a reply, you can search the online community posts by putting in the infusion names. The search thingy is at the top of the page. There have been many discussions about the infusions which are usually recommended for those 65 years old and younger. There are side effects to consider that include brain bleeds. The infusions may delay progression by a few months. So you must weigh the risk and possible benefit.
