    Thank you, @Iris L. This is a great site! I will add to the other live one we watch from the Cornell Lab (Cornell University in Ithaca NY). DH loves to watch as we eat break fast. He can name some of the more ‘common’ birds and asks about birds he is not so familiar with

    Cornell also has an app to identify birds by audio or picture. It is free - they just want you to sign up with an email so they can track where birds are located. We’ve learned about many birds that migrate thru Florida and never knew they were here! The app has the same logo of the bird at the bottom left of the screenshot.

    Thank you jgreen, for posting the bird feeders. I never could have a bird feeder because I have always had a house full of cats.

    Thank you Iris, my daughter and I have been watching Jackie and Shadow, for a few years now, and we get so excited each step of the way. And we cry when the babies take off. If I remember right you don't live to far from Big Bear Mountin. We watch it during off season, just seeing who might be visiting the nest, alway hoping its one of the babies returning home.     You are welcomed. Raccoons would clean our feeders out, so we gave up!

    Jackie the eagle has laid a new egg. Two eggs were lost to Ravens a few days ago.

    I missed this post in January so Yay, this is wonderful!!! Thank you Iris and jgreen for these two wonderful sites. Watching our bird feeders is still a fun and soothing pastime for DW and I. These sites will be a great addition and sure beats the relentless “news” that my DW is addicted to watching on tv.
