Desperately seeking housing

For those that read my first post, you know what I've gone through, and now I'm trying to locate housing for myself after spending seven years caring for my mother with alzheimer's.

I'm trying to find a room for rent or a kitchenette in the Bryan/College Station, Texas area.

If you can help, please reach out to me.

Thank you and god bless.

Check for housing assistance of city and county.

If you have nowhere to stay,

immediately call 2-1-1 (in many areas) or contact your local Continuum of Care (CoC) (via HUD or local government)

, as these are central points to access emergency shelters, housing assistance, and services like those from the Salvation Army or American Red Cross, with options ranging from immediate shelter to longer-term support depending on your situation.

All great information. However, the resources that 211 gave me were useless. There are only 2 shelters here and both are packed to capacity. Even Adult protective services couldn't figure out what to do to help me. So they paid 3 days in a hotel.
