Brain Honey

Just watched a video by Bill Gates extolling the benefits of a product called Brain Honey. He claimed it could reverse the effects of dementia in even stage 7 victims. At the end, he was selling a 6 month supply for about $300.00. I see it's on Amazon for under $90.00 for a 5 month supply.

Has anyone tried this??? I know, I know, if it worked it would be on the front page. But, Bill Gates? Like he needs the money?

Thanks for that. I will be more aware of AI fakes in the future. It looked really real.

My suggestion when you use AI type in ‘only facts no advertising material or opinions’

My DH shows me all those ads on FB…" this will cure dementia, etc". Last night it was the one for honey. I just gave my standard reply, "I'll look into the science." But, I realized last night that this is another example of DH's critical thinker being broken. Since he is a numbers genius, it is sometimes hard for me to see when his critical thinking isn't working.

My DW has purchased a multitude of honeys, pills, drops, ear buzzing apps. It's all snake oil IMO, thankfully harmless (I hope!). I think buying this crap gives her a sense of control. She exhibits anosognosia but I suspect deep down (subconsciously?) even anosognosia suffers like my DW know something's going on in their brain.

I wish there was a supplement or honey that us caregivers could ingest that would help us better adapt/ adjust our own behavior to better cope with our loved one's new reality. So far dry red wine in the evening seems to work the best for me (Just a joke! Not a recommendation!).

AI is rampant on the internet. Just because someone LOOKS and SOUNDS like Bill Gates, does not mean that is him. Start by being

Skeptical of EVERYTHING you see until you have 100% verified its source

My brother-in-law told me that I should try giving my DH 2 tablespoons of coconut oil every day. Honestly, don't people realize that there isn't a Magic Bean for this and all these scams and suggestions are just more hurtful nonsense?
